Tonight’s Live Action from Mennen Arena: Morris Knolls v. Randolph 6:15 pm

________________________________________

This is the first game Mennen Division game for Morris Knolls and definitely one of the most important all year. The Golden Eagles come in with a record of 1-0-1 overall. Morris Knolled opened a week ago, today, with a 2-2 tie over parochial power house Don Bosco Prep. Morris Knolls trailed in the game 2-0, but rallied with a late 2nd period power play goal by Don Nichols. Early in the third, Justin Lewendaski tied the game with a power play goal. Knolls registered its first win of the season with a dominating win over Johnson Regional, 10-0 last Monday. Four different plays scored the ten goals for the Golden Eagles. During the two games, Knolls Goalkeep Tyler Rideout had 17 and 12 saves.

The Rams come riding high off a dominating win over Morristown-Beard last Thursday. The game was penalty filled, but the Rams never allowed the Crimson offense to get going. Any quality shots were smothered by Dan Swenson, who was even better at not allowing any rebounds. Randolph comes in with a record of 1-1, suffering a 2-1 loss to Princeton Day Academy early in the week.

See you at Mennen at 6:00!
