In wrestling action yesterday, Roxbury kept their hopes of winning the Iron Division alive. The Gaels used pins from Matt Parker (112), Bryan McGrath (125), Vach Garripoli (160) and Santino Mangiro (215) to help defeat Randolph 45-23. The victory up’d their record to 7-0. The Gaels will face Livingston, Hillsborough, Knolls and Hanover before setting up meetings against Seton Hall Prep & Mt. Olive on January 24th and 27th.
Pequannock continued its winning ways and took down Delbarton 42-30. The Panther improved to 8-2 on the season. Morris Hills took down West Essex 36-30. Nick Philolius of Morris Hills need overtime to beat Mike Droz from West Essex to secure the victory. Morris Knolls continues to get stronger. An impressive 31-24 victory over Morristown.
