** best match of the dual ** – Sosa scores a quick take down. Sosa sinks in a half and runs it to put LeGrande on back with about 45 seconds left in the opening period. LeGrande managed to prevent the pin; 5-0 at end of 1; 2nd period: Starts in Neutral: LeGrande uses a wizzar to take down Sosa to his back for 3 point near fall; LeGrande leads 5-4 at 1:33 of 2nd. Vetrini takes down Syverson and records the first period pin.

Mt Olive gains another 6 points with another 1st period pin. Cuellar takes down Morales, and Morales escape. Cuellar’s second takedown results in a pinning combination and earns the pin at 0:46
145 – Tim Shevelove (PH) pinned Travis Somerville (MO); 5:12 (Team: MO 42-18)
The Vikings respond with a pin here to end the Marauders’ 1st period pin run. Sommerville take down Shevelove and the 1st period ends 2-0; Shevelove chooses bottom and earns an early reversal. The 2nd period ends tied at 2; Shevelove executes a nice guillotine to near perfection for a pin a 5;12.
152 – Bronson Offerding (MO) major dec Kevin Moon (PH); 12-0 (Team: MO 46-18)
Offerding uses two takes downs to gain a 4-0 lead, one in each period then gets Moon to his back and earns 3 point as the 2nd period ends; 7-0. The third period results in two take down & three near-falls for a 12-0 victory.
160 – Eric DiColo (MO) dec Paul Crutchlow (PH); 7-3 (Team: MO 49-18)
Crutchlow takedown and DiColo escapes. DiColo takes down Crutchlow with 10 seconds left in 1st makes it 3-2. The second period starts with a good shot with 1:42 left in second. The takedown makes it 5-2 DiColo. Critchlow does a great job of not going to his back and escapes with under 10 seconds in second(5-3); DiColo starts on bottom and sits-out, stands with a near leg and takes down Critchlow for a reversal, 7-3 1:25 left; Dicolo sinks a cradle with 30 seconds left, but Critchlow fights it off andwr breaks it.
171 – Billy Mauro (MO) tech fall Hannes David (PH); 17-1 (Team: MO 54-18)
Mauro take down with 1:35 and David escapes at 1:18; Mauro gets a second take down at 1:00. Period 1 ends 4-1; Mauro starts on bottom and earns a reversal with a 3 point Near Fall; Hannes David, a German exchange student nearly reverses Mauro to his back, but Mauro and still fights off the reversal to put David to his back for 2 more NF points; quick tilt for 2 point Near Fall (13-1) another tilt with 15 seconds make sit 15-1 and 2nd period ends; David chooses neutral; Mauro gets a takedown for tech at 4:12;
Wrestler of the day: Mendham’s John Mastrobono. The senior recorded big wins today for the Minutemen. DiColo was named Mt. Olive Most Outstanding Wrestler last Saturday and bumped up to 152 for this match.
