Chatham Bowling - Coach Ortiz

Yesterday, the CHS varsity was defeated by Morris Knolls in the final round of the NJBL tournament, 7-0. CHS did receive their championship plaque for finishing in first place for the league. Stop by the front office to take a look. Brandon Schindler also earned the high average and high series awards for the league. Brandon Schindler and Tommy Magers made first team all-conference as well. Congratulations to the team on their achievements this year. The high scores for yesterday were:

Captain Jim Chatterton with a 202, Brandon Schindler with a 211, Tommy Magers with a 257, Ian Lerner with a 217 and 231, and Matt Schneider with an amazing 252.

Chatham Men's Indoor track - Coach Heffernan

At the Morris County Track Championship the boys' team took an impressive 4th place last night. The Cougar assault was lead by Junior star Scott McCullough. Scott not only took the gold in the high jump he also placed in the hurdles. Mike Bracken and TJ Lavelle unleashed their blazing middle distance speed as they both garnered bronze in the 600 meter run. Early in the evening Greg Leonard set the pace for the Cougars taking third in the 1600. The last event for the Cougars, the 3200, provided an epic battle as James Grimes ran against some of the best distance men in the State. James strong 4th place rounded out the Chatham scoring.

Chatham Women's Indoor track - Coach Ferguson

Biz Shenk represented the ladies in fine fashion again last night at the Morris County Track Championships! Biz earned all of Chatham's points at the meet with two fifth place finishes in the 300m dash and the 600m run. Way to go, Biz!

Before I start, I seriously need to ask … who is Trinity Christian and when did they start competing in Morris County Sports!? Are they recognized by the NJSIAA? Do they have other sports? Is this the same school as Parsippany Christian? Do they have other sports, and if they do, why do they not compete in that County Tournament? These are things that I’d like to know.

Randolph took the Boys Championships accumulating 84 points,
34 points ahead of Hanover Park and 44 points ahead of Morris Hills.
