Holy Hanover Park!

If you know the Hanover Park coaching staff, you'll appreciate the title of this post. This really is an amazing time year. As I spoke with a few of my basketball contacts/experts, the consensus was that Hanover would be over matched by Rutherford. But, that's why they play the games. Key to Hanover's victory included, obviously, free throw shooting; Limiting the supporting cast to almost zero points; Pressing and pressing some more; never giving up. It's amazing what a team that plays together can accomplish. When a team believes in each other and what the coaching staff is preaching to them, it only takes one spark and you can surprise the world. The game was described as a “battle” and had the intensity that is present is any good state championship game.
